It’s a Good Day

It’s another bright Summer day in WNC. I have been blessed by the Lord in this life and I hopefully am walking in His path for me. The community center is starting to fulfill its function as a meeting place for the community and for what may be the last PATCON on a larger scale across the country. As CA put it yesterday, it may be our last chance to see some of our friends.

There are many negatives for our nation at this point and it is easy to overlook our positive aspects and blessings. I do want to cover a comment on Appalachian Renegade from an acquaintance of over 16 years. Here is a snippet:

David – You once lamented that you were branded as a white separatist after relocation to Murphy. Given the following excerpts from this conclusion …

For background, I was guided to move to Murphy and had little knowledge of it or its people. After moving here, I worked and went home and had little interaction with the people here. I did associate with a small “group” of people who seemed of like mind. However, the conflict between the leader and his tactical officer in that group became acrimonious to say the least.

This is how I came to the understanding that groups are not the solution. Here is a real example:

A meeting was called for the group’s leadership (five men) at the doctor’s house. When I arrived, the tactical officer was literally screaming at the leader over a policy of how to deal with people we did not know entering our area of operation after the collapse. The tactical officer was adamant that anyone would be shot and killed on site if they were not known. The example was a couple and their children. Incredibly, the doctor eventually backed down and agreed to that policy.

I dropped out of that group and the tactical officer spread the rumor that I was a racist. This was not the first time I was labelled as such because that was the last Rule for Radicals: “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it”. There was no basis for the label as I interacted with less than ten people in this area. The community center was labelled a White Supremacist compound while it was being built as part of that attack. I did not lament it: it was another addition to his list which included killing me. If you come to the community center for the first time, you would see there is nothing to support that statement. As for being a white separatist, I did not know the demographics of this area prior to moving.

I want to relay another story concerning Wes. I held the 2018 PATCON and an author was one of the speakers. When Wes had posted on NCRenegade for around a year, this author wrote and told me that either Wes had to be censored or he would stop supporting the site. I do not like being told want to do or to censor other people’s writing. As I have written before, this site’s purpose is to present information and let people decide on the value of the information and build intelligence for future actions.

So I ask the readers for their opinions on:

  1. Should I censor people for writing thought exercises?
  2. Should I censor people for posting information for which I do not agree?
  3. Should I stop censoring people for call black Americans niggers? I used a “b” for black to follow Hans’ example for white Americans.

I want to remind people also of these points:

  1. I posted the quote concerning “Socialism is to Communism as Suicide is to Murder” last week. Does that sound like an endorsement of either?
  2. I posted that the idea that black Americans do not have a soul was something that I have not considered before and is not supported in the Bible. Deciding on which human being is not one of God’s children is an evil that shows how immoral our world has become.
  3. I posted a quote from Candance Owens and was attacked for supporting a black woman. If you were offended by some of the comments on that post, you should have seen the ones I deleted.

I taught my children to always tell the truth and work hard. To be truthful, I had no prior information concerning Roth’s post but I did believe that he was making a point and I respect his wisdom. I glanced over his posts without much thought because of time constraints and I was concentrating on my PATCON Governance roundtable. The assertations that Hans made in his comment were unfounded and false. I knew as much as the readers did concerning this thread. But I actually knew even less as I did not thoroughly read them.

Hans was supposed to moderate the roundtable on good and evil. He asked me to forward his notes to Roth for his opinion. I asked Roth if I could give Hans his email directly and he agreed. I do not know what or if anything transpired between them to have Hans drop out without any communication with me.

So back to why this is a good day. I have been shown the true character of a man whom I had considered a friend. I have been shown that a man who goes to church has no problem bearing false witness.

You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

I am reminded that I have been given a purpose and have used most of my savings to build a community center and help people in the future. I also pray that people fear the Lord as that is the beginning of wisdom. I pray that they discern the truth, prepare for the future and show mercy on their neighbors.

As for Roth’s thought exercise, he will be at the PATCON to discuss his reasons for trying to educate people. I will be moderating the Governance roundtable and I will give you a starting point for this exercise: I will not be espousing or promoting any government. I will be asking people to consider how they would set up a governing structure for their area of operations if the federal government collapses.

  1. David, I did not mean it as a personal attack I did not see this article.

  2. “I do not know what or if anything transpired between them to have Hans drop out without any communication with me.”

I can answer that. Hans did contact me and asked me to co-chair his roundtable giving the Germanic Folkish perspective. I agreed. We had a good back-and-forth via email and I thought all was good. Next thing I knew he’d advised David and CC’d me he was out.

I was looking forward to meeting Hans and I think he and I ultimately want the same things. Common Law and Natural Law.

  3. What’s that old saying that Perfect is the enemy of Good and people will throw away relationships, acquaintances, and friendships because they aren’t perfect in their thinking…It’s why we can’t get anything done as a group… Look at how many just here would rather live under totalitarian rule as long as they are comfortable who cares about how many innocents are dying every day because they were told in government(who they hate by the way) schools that Socialism bad…The Cognitive Dissonance that is displayed here on a daily basis is a site to behold…Sad That…

    1. Brother, there are many you and me out there, doing what we have been doing for the last 2+ decades.
It’s mind numbing those that hear and have eyes that see, but really don’t.
At this point there’s nothing that can be added. Comfort is the reason I believe. Even the most devoted run on feels.
There will never be justice. It’s always been just us. YMMV.

  4. David,

I like reading your stuff. I like Wes’ stuff. I will read Thor’s stuff. But Roth is unreadable. I never asked that you remove him, only that he post his first paragraph and continue the rest on a second page so we don’t have to scroll so far to skip his spewings. Nothing he writes is practical. It is all passive aggressive philosophical bullshit. Just a bunch of mealy mouthed rantings. The same stuff Spencer was spewing when he made the original Alt Right site unreadable years ago. Then his defense “I am not supporting it, it is just a thought exercise.” Weak and feminine.

I feel the same way about Roth. Whan i see his name i scroll down to the end. The thought exercise is just bullshit. It really belongs elsewhere. But David, Wes and Thor are always a good read.

I don’t understand the intolerance demonstrated by most people these days. Are they so insecure? They seem afraid to hear or read anything that opposes their established position and belief system. We all have free will and a delete button to exercise if what is being presented is offensive and/or obscene, so use it. I don’t agree with every word or WHAT words are used, but I have the power to either stay with it or move on and wait for the next posting. And I appreciate living in a country where I do have the option to hear opposing views and deciding if I want to participate. Whether I agree or disagree, I have if nothing else learned something and am then firmer in what I believe as a result of the discussion.

  6. As for me. DO NOT censor this blog. The free exercise of opinions/speech is what’s best.
There is far too much censorship being accepted in this country and its not just on the left. The right has began to attack voraciously anyone that even trys to talk about problems in the rights thinking process and the right’s hive minded determined belief system relating to Trump as MAGA’s Messiah and Israel as Gods chosen people are insane. We just MUST send Goyim kids to die for the Jews, sorry I will pass on that shit.
The right has fallen into a trap and its shows up in comment sections everywhere. More and more long time commenters have just stopped and walked away from the insanity. As you probably saw in the group you left, groups caught up in inbred group think and hatred of anyone not in their clan will cause more problems than fixing them. Besides possibly starting a local war with another local group in the middle of a collapse by shear stupidity, you former group sounds like a possible LEO instigator. Think about the stupidity of shooting on site, that couple could have been a trauma doctor and his nurse wife who left their area due to riots and could have been a great asset for saving lives, the fact that they ARE NOT local to me at times is double plus good, A small gene pool cause more trouble than its worth..

“Think about the stupidity of shooting on site, that couple could have been a trauma doctor and his nurse wife who left their area due to riots and could have been a great asset for saving lives”

Murder is murder, even if it was some bureaucrat and his wife and not a doctor and nurse. As Icy suggests, there are ways to incorporate, or even redirect people to other areas without murdering them and spending eternity in hell. This time on earth is a test, and it sounds like folks who would murder on site will fail the test. Is an extension of life in turbulent times worth your eternity? Is this the way you want people to treat you? For all you know, you may end up being the refugees showing up somewhere else, if, say, the foul wind from a destroyed nuclear reactor blows your way. Folks, you need to recognize thought patterns that are from the pit of hell and avoid them.

It might be better to consider how to incorporate more people into your group. For example, up here we have potato barns that could feed a whole town. Does anyone have an old tractor or team of horses and wagon that could haul a few tons of potatoes back to where there are hungry people? You can certainly murder your neighbors, but in the end the Russians will likely bomb your compound with an SU-24 or two anyway, so why not keep your integrity and your honor instead of dying a murderous, evil snake?

  7. The 1st amendment applies everywhere, including the “online communities”. While I do not agree with opinions which differ from mine (who does?), it is an American citizen’s right to say it. I definitely don’t like what the vile, radical left and communists have to say but even they have the right to spew their garbage.

Censorship is a very slippery slope. If you or anyone, as a keyboard warrior, would not make your comment in person to someone’s face, then don’t type it. It’s easy to hide behind “anonymous” and attack someone else’s beliefs/comments/ideas; it’s a much different ballgame in person.

I read many other sites to get a varied picture of what’s going on. Please don’t censor your site as it’s become one of a few which cover a great deal of what other “conservative” sites won’t.

Thank you for all you do!

  8. While I don’t believe in censorship in a public forum, this is not one. It is a private website run through the good graces of our host. So if trolls are a problem, they can go as they are not here to contribute to the discussion and in some cases to derail it. As to the comment that thought exercises are stupid, I believe both physical and mental exercise are necessary to keep body and mind from turning to pudding as I age. Apparently the commenter does not and is not forced to read the articles he dislikes. As far as the patriot community not being all kumbaya, the Founders were not all of one mind on all subjects either. They were able, thank God, to find enough common ground to found a system of governance that we all have benefitted from. But in the end it wasn’t the system that was the problem but the evil that resides in the hearts of men. So don’t take too much offense to things you read here that might rub the wrong way. We all can use some improvement, myself especially.

  9. David, FWIW run your site the way you want, its your site.
One of my personal rules: I do not use derogatory terms such as nigger, kike, spic, dago etc etc etc. I do not want to ever get comfortable using derogatory language that I offend an individual in public. ( I once worked with a client engineer who is from Italy, great guy. Another really good man was starting to tell an old Italian joke, I know he had no ill will, but I stopped him to avoid a possible insult)

I commented on another post all you can do with stupidity is stand back and admire it. I personally just pass over comments I dislike.

  10. Narrow down to only one goal. The survival of our people. Everything for us, nothing against us. Period. Everything else is a distraction.
