MTG was my Rep. and I support her on Epstein Transparency and strongly resented Trump calling her & Me a Traitor.
However After 47 Years of the Mullahs in Iran killing and threatening Americans, After 47 Years of Failed Carter, and Bribing Obamy, and Sidestepping Bushie NeoCons, and Biden Corruption disasters ….
President Trump is Hopefully ENDING the Mullah Iranian Regime.
Strategically then the USA can pivot Away from the Middle East, including Israel. Let them sort it out under the Abraham Accords. Israel and the Arabs are capable of coexistence.

IMHO, the premise of @mtg4cnn’s comment is wrong, although I think this has been the case many times for several years now. This is not, and never was a “War For Israel”. Yes, Israel benefits, but so does every other country in the Middle East. So do we. Who does NOT benefit is China, and to a lesser degree, Russia. Isn’t it interesting that Putin is not saying much about this? China certainly is, but that’s because we are systematically eliminating their ability to wield power. We are wresting control of the world back from China… I don’t think we are doing that on behalf of Israel. I think we’re doing that on behalf of The United States. Israel is at best a minor player, both militarily and in influence… we systematically give them much more credit than they deserve or have earned. No matter what anyone says, a mouse does NOT control the actions of an elephant.
President Trump’s actions will make this a safer world, not more dangerous. It was already almost as dangerous as it could be.

Just remember, since you want to begin our history with Iran at 1979, it was the US/CIA that staged a COUP that ousted the democratically-elected government of Iran on behalf of British Petroleum when the government wanted to re-negotiate a horrifically-one-sided partnership regarding oil revenues. After the COUP, the brutal regime of our puppet, the SHAH, began. The CIA trained his secret police force, and the US taxpayers propped up his regime. The revolution of 1979 was an INEVITABLE outcome of 25 years of torture, brutality, and murder by the SHAH. Giving him safe haven in the US following his overthrow only threw gasoline on the fire. Now they are talking about putting his SON on the throne. I always like to remind people that “history” goes back forever, NOT just to the point where your arguments have merit. Our meddling in Iran and the ENTIRE Middle East is legendary. Many historians point to Wilson doing everything possible to get us involved in WW1 as a critical factor in the collapse of the Russian Empire, the French empire, the Ottoman Empire (and the resulting carving up of the M.E. to the “benefit” of the British/French/etc. folks and ushering in the Balfour Agreement which set the stage for the state of Israel and the century plus misery we have witnessed over there and so much more. Indeed, much like Climate Charts, if you pick the data that ONLY serves your agenda, you miss a LOT!!!! Thanks for the positives.

To add to my comment, I am on God Almighty’s side.
This is more of a ‘when did you stop beating your wife’ question approach; MTG sets up two possibilities you have to pick from, both of which you might disdain, but she demands that you must be in one camp or the other, no other options. I am frankly tired of this manipulative approach as it fuels strife and, as many in the comments mention, does not look at the whole picture.
As for “those who just want peace and to be able to afford their bills and health insurance”, we all want that, but also so did the Germans who voted for Hitler in WW 2. The raw truth is that Islam is at war with the west, whether we want it or not. Read the Koran cover to cover (old version) and see. There are no moderates; only radicals and infidels in their book. Islam is a political as well as religious system, and it will not stop unless we are all converted or dead, or it is stopped.
