And let’s ignore all that the US did from the CIA COUP in 1955 and the 25 years propping up our brutal PUPPET the Shah. Most people only want to start US-Iran history in 1979.
So, first of all, I’m not an influencer, by Matt Walsh standards. Nevertheless, I have been [mostly] in favor of obliterating the Mullahs for nearly my entire adult life, and I have been in favor of eliminating the Ayatollah for nearly forever. So, I won’t apologize, nor will I say I was wrong, because I believe we are doing now what we should have done decades ago. Regarding Matt Walsh’s comments, well, very few people are capable of admitting when they were wrong. Lt me be very clear right now… radical Islam MUST be destroyed if we are to avoid facing slavery for the rest of time.
I will say it again, (and I recognize that I am in the minority here… that’s okay, I am grateful for the opportunity to voice my opinion, as well as everyone else voicing their opinion… THAT is America…) this is happening to contain China. Ending up with 90 million Iranians as allies because we took out a tyrant that destroyed their country does not hurt, either, nor does destroying purveyors of radical Islam. A stable, prosperous Iran essentially eliminates the likelihood of future Middle East wars, leading to a stable, prosperous planet. China will figure it out, and Russia already understands that NOT having the United States as an adversary is by far a better plan than what they had before.
Now, to address a previous comment… yeah, 55 years ago the CIA was involved in installing the Shah. Our CIA was also filled with communists then (as they are now). Sowing chaos IS WHAT COMMUNISTS DO. Am I responsible for that? No. McCarthy tried to warn us way back then… and they destroyed him for it. Blaming today America for the sins of 55 years ago America is wrong, just like blaming today America for 1800’s slavery is wrong. What is also wrong is the idea that we have to clean up the damage done by not only 55 year ago America but 5 year ago America as well.
I’m not a summer soldier. I support President Trump, and [most of] his actions now every bit as much as I supported him when I voted for him three times. I also trust him. I guess we’ll see how it turns out. As I have said many times before, if I’m wrong, I’ll come right back here and say it. So far, I haven’t had to… we’ll see in a month.
