It’s about time and I hope Rep Luna doesn’t go the way of MTG and bail out just when she’s needed most. Shame on MTG for being spineless and not staying to vote for patriots and those of us who didn’t make millions/billions for the few years she held office. She entered office with a declared worth of $700,000 and is leaving with a whole lot more.

  2. Let’s be clear. The Somalis are a serious problem, but the ISRAELIS are the FUNDAMENTAL PROBLEM!!!!!!!!

  3. APL has more spine than the rest of them combined. I absolutely support banning ALL dual citizens from holding ANY political office. Either you’re an AMERICAN Citizen, or your a foreigner. No exceptions… not even for Israel.

I might add no Muslims either. Every Muslim in this country should be expelled.

    1. Islam is a competing political system with a religious text and practice attached. A republic owes NOTHING to the advocates of competing political systems.

  4. I am very good/cool with this being passed, will still have a lot of problems but tis a good start solving them.

  5. Nothing in the constitution forces this action. Maybe something in past laws or precedents can be construed to support this position – but I think it would already have been raised to prominence in the debate. Unless this can be done through the courts, it’s not going to happen. Congress is too full of dual citizens for new legislation to come from that source.

The only chance I see is for the argument to influence the ballot box via public opinion.

It’s more likely that corruption charges will result in removals via law enforcement of fraud etc of the worst offenders.

  6. This is a much needed reform. I wish her every success.
