Republicans in Congress are holding the entire country hostage in order to fulfill their partisan agenda of cutting Obamacare.
It’s regular people who pay the price for these reckless cuts and partisan games.

Getting rid of ‘mandatory’ health insurance paid to what I would call Healthcare oligarchs (next worst thing to single payer) is what the majority of the country would ask for, if they understood it.
Bring back anti-monopoly / anti-trust break ups of large companies.
The “Senator” has his last name misspelled. It should be Warlock.
Senators in both parties voted for these subsidies 4 years ago, using Covid as a cover for enriching the health insurance companies who bankroll them.
Always a problem when you pay the Danegeld.
It’s my understanding that all this could have been avoided if the Dems had simply passed the CR and let debate finetune things while in session until the holiday break. But the Dems wanted to continue to pay for the invaders’ health care, which the Rep had eliminated in their version, so the Dems voted 15 times against the Rep version. I don’t understand if the CR is still an option anymore or not. But meanwhile the politicians continue to get their pay on time—why is that?
