And rest assured that Iran is cranking out 500 per day of the new babies per day at a cost of $5,000.00 per copy–minimum… also rest assured that the Patriot systems will target them at a minimum of $3,000,000.00 a pop–with two pops per target costing a minimum of $6,000,000.00 dollars an engagement. And even if these new drones do not manage to reach their targets due to effective air-defenses–who will be winning? Also consider this–since they have double the range and double the warheads, won’t they be able to reach US surface ships that are currently standing supposedly now ‘out of range’ of Iranian weapons? Will US surface vessels be able to survive a swarm attack of 100 or more of these drones at time. That will cost the Iranians $50,000.00 to hit a ship worth 4 billion dollars (carriers) or a $700,000,000.00 guided missile destroyer. And again if the drones do not reach their targets, it will cost the USA $200,000,000.00 in defensive weaponry for such an engagement–and who again wins? Things to consider. How long can this be sustained?

Obviously, these mullahs and the IRGC are not going gently into the good night. If this device is for real, and not just some Wiley E. Coyote Acme Drone, I hope it is targeted at the Tiny Hats and not the USN. But we will just have to wait and see.

  3. I’d bet my next paycheck that if we could get our hands on one of these we would find that much if not most of the tech making this extended capability drone possible comes from Russia, China…or both.

    1. More probable is that the tech came from a captured US Reaper drone.

      1. Yep, you bet they replicated everything about these drones. Most folks think of the iranians as stupid, mountain-dwelling morons. They are not. Many went to school here and took their knowledge of technology back to iran to further the cause.

IMHO, we have grossly underestimated the capabilities and resources of the regime.
