I was last in NYFC in July of ’22. They still had all the restaurants with outdoor seating under cover on the sidewalk. Trash in piles at the curb. Just a general shithole then. This will be the ultimate shitshow on steroids.
Ha ha! They voted for this. And they’re gonna get it, good and hard. I maintain NYC was a write off a long time ago, even long before the brief respite afforded by Giuliani’s cleanup job. This just cements that it is, practically speaking, occupied territory and no longer an American city. It will eventually have to be reconquered and cleared out of all the vermin that now in habit it.
