Affirmative Action of any sort hurts EVERYONE of the same demographic that IS ACTUALLY QUALIFIED. Those numbers might be quite large or quite small, but they are what they are and discriminating against more or equally qualified only results in everyone questioning just how someone got the job in the first place. That is where the first destruction begins. But of course when you teach kids that being successful and studying, obeying the rules, etc. is “being white” (and implicitly bad), you certainly aren’t going to get a lot of “qualified” folks as adults.
One day, not today, not tomorrow but some day soon. I have prepared my children to make it happen.
Will we return to a merit-based Nation?
Not without a return to God.
Without a nation-wide repentance this country will continue on its path to destruction.
I listened recently to a video clip, wish I saved it where an ex NFL player said basically he was raised (football) merit based up thru college. In the NFL, the guy who gets paid the most for a given position plays, not the best player.
