I agree. It’s almost as painful as watching your own child make horrible mistakes that will forever alter their life and future, but they won’t listen to your advice and choose the moral path. Only now the actions of our countrymen and leaders will take us all down with them. Not enough of us want to hear the truth because the truth requires work and sacrifice.
So long as comfort and convenience reign supreme, TPTB will get away with almost anything. Real deprivation is a motivator that hurts. Watching and acknowledging suffering in comfort, not so much. Bad guys studied the 20th century well. IMHO.
