I was never hopeful that he would change anything, I just believed he would slow the communists down. Nothing has changed, we lost this country a long time ago and there is only one way to get it back. Not hopeful in getting it back either, just waiting for the collapse and the inevitable kaos.
Exactly, Tom. I only ever looked at a Trump victory as a respite, a time to ammo up rethink, recalibrate and regroup. We are indeed toast, starting with what is left of the rapidly evaporating dollar. What comes next will be ugly beyond anything in the history of this country. It was not wrong for us to want a bit of a break.

Trump’s reelection was never going to make a significant change to the system. At best it will be like his first term…a 4 year hiatus in the lefts campaign to destroy freedom. But far too many idiots who believe the lefts lies are allowed to vote….let alone the millions of ineligible voters the left makes use of to make their hold on power. America as founded and intended is doomed. Nearly dead and beyond saving.
I cannot say anything more, we are on the same wavelength.
The worst of it all is that so many beautiful patriots gave their lives and their property to get and keep our American experiment, and the rotten selected representatives of the people sold us all out.

They must have figured out that the people are extremely pissed off. Congress has, earlier in the year, quietly made provisions to more quickly fill “vacant seats” when necessary. So they must be figuring on “losing” some members. And they have to come home and face the voters to campaign.
Now, there’s the ONION!
I hear the same lament among 90% of people I know. The other 10% are the “Trust the plan” NPCs wearing their MAGA apparel 24/7. The sad truth remains that 535 feckless a-holes really don’t give a shit about what we think or want until it gets close to their re-election when they demand we vote for them by threatening us with evil Democrat rule.
It’s nothing more than the pot calling the kettle black.
Hope is for suckers. Choke down those black pills…
