    Thank LBJ to a HUGE EXTENT….well, obviously the wealthy colonists who happily purchased people from the Jewish slave traders so they didn’t have to get their hands dirty running their plantations, but more recently, LBJ for sure. Not that any republicans have actually stood up and promoted personal responsibility, ending the welfare state, freeing business from the ravages of the crony-capitalist system we live under, etc.
