Underlying much of the massive debt enumerated above is the fact that Americans* are massively overtaxed.
To rub it in, we see daily how $B of our tax dollars are mismanaged, stolen & given to politicians, their friends & families and their pet projects. Look at the UKR money laundering that covers all of the above.
* Americans, as in Legacy Tax-Paying Americans.
And, NO, this will never be addressed, never fixed, as long as politicians are able to keep squeezing the rock to get blood.
