That is a significant development. A beginning that could spread toward reconciling the rift in American society.
Going to be an interesting week. Does Schumer continue to play hardball? Does he give in? Either way, he loses.
The only reason I even care is because I cannot renew my amateur radio license until the government reopens. Fortunately the grace period is significantly longer than how long this shutdown will likely go.
I wonder if we’ll ever get a balanced-budget amendment… ?
