Definitely worse off–all prices are up and some approaching the level of gouging. I’m a regular at Aldi where they discount meats by 50% as they approach expiration. Haven’t seen much of that in the past few weeks other than getting lucky (go early BTW). Also noticed a massive increase in customers with their markets as the name-stores, the corporate crap markets are wildly overpriced compare to Aldi. People are hurting because of the prices–and there are long lines at Aldi now, which is a good indicator. And the reason why–the Trump/Israel connection and con-job creating war that shut off 30% of the world’s energy supplies.

Truthfully, I’d vote against my financial well being if I thought it would be beneficial to our nation. But that is the problem with Democracy, especially with universal suffrage. This country is doomed as long as everyone can vote their own selfish self interest. Give me a Catholic King.

    1. I’ve realized the same thing. We sorely need our Lucius Quinctius Cincinnatus. I don’t think Cheeto Jesus is that man. That’s what everyone was hoping for I think? Instead he’s turned into Caligula or something! It always rhymes.

  3. Yes,many goods do cost me more so in theory finacially doing worse.

That said,I flick a switch and the light comes on/turn a handle and water flows/roof over me head helps keep me warm and dry.I live better then the richest folks did say 120 years ago and back, most have these basics and am grateful for that.

I realize without preparing I may lose some of those very nice things,so,I plan alts.

As the ancient curse, attributed to the Chinese, states: “May you live in interesting times.” After a lot of soul-searching here in the Gem State, I will most likely hold my nose and vote for Risch and Fulcher even though they take AIPAC money.
The forces of darkness are on the march in Idaho to turn it Blue. The Karens, Beta Males and closet Marxists have made Proposition 1-Infanticide, their cause célèbres`. Risch and Fulcher are a disease of the skin. The Socialist-Abortion Party candidates and their useful idiots who run as “Independents” are a disease of the heart. Like Satan, they never sleep and are always busy. Stay vigilant.
