I’m generally in agreement with Tucker; it’s his naive attitude about Islam that I object to the most. He is a very intelligent man and should know the death and destruction Islam has wrought on the world since its inception as a “religion”.
I don’t think that Tucker is naive about Islam–he just realizes that they should be ‘contained’ not chicken-shitted at every turn by the USA for the last nearly 50 years. If you wonder why they act up and have pursued what you would call ‘terrorism’ against US forces and interests, this the reason why. Now take for instance Japan–who purchased (or used to) Iranian oil for decades–and do you see Iran conducting so-called terrorist activities against that country? ANSWER: No. And why? ANSWER: because they do not and did not meddle in Iran’s internal affairs. If we could only do the same and just conduct a policy of containment–that is letting them shit in their own beds without jumping though hoops at the behest of Israel.
