You have the right to bear arms. You don’t have the right to fight the police. If you fight and are armed, then you are armed and dangerous. Compare Pretti with Ritenhouse. Ritenhouse did it right.

False comparison. Pretti did not fight police. He used his phone and likely got pissed (as I would) after he got a face full of CS. Whether he used proper judgment, I opine he did not. However, he was disarmed and was murdered by untrained or pussy (or both) cops.

Confrontation with communists and police in downtown Raleigh, NC
“To stand at this event today, I submitted to Statutes of NC and the Ordinances of Raleigh which stripped me of some of my Rights for the privilege of permitting me to exercise others. One should never have to surrender one Right to exercise another. It is unreasonable to relinquish my Right to defend my life where agitators cross into our crowd to provoke conflict.
“Our State and City have passed laws that attempt to make our human rights mutually exclusive. If I want to peacefully assemble to picket I must not be armed. If I am armed, I must distance myself from locations where free speech is exercised. This is philosophically and morally wrong.”

This Communist faggot was CARRYING a tricked-out high-capacity semi-auto pistol with a red dot sight. He was loaded for bear and, given the opportunity, would have wasted one or more ICE personnel. There is carrying for personal protection and then carrying for going into harm’s way.
I speak from my experience as a Peace Officer and as one who has had to shoot back. I have also investigated officer-involved shooting while working as a DA Investigator. It is one thing for a citizen to have a five or six-round snubbie in their pants pocket if they are on their way to run local errands or stand and watch the riots. This asshole was ready to do battle. He lost.-
Do stupid things and get stupid prizes. This criminal got exactly what he looked and deserved.

Not your call I don’t care what your qualifications are you are not god.That being said it’s on me to act responsibly when carrying.Not my call what(he would have done) that discussion over.But I am fairly certain a lot of things contributed to his demise . I disagree. I have carried since 1992 and always have at least two spare mags. Where I grew up wildling mobs were a thing and more times than not, they were also armed. I dont see cops w/o two mags. Shit, in my sleepy little hamlet where NOTHING happens they are rocking plate carriers with multiple rifle mags.
This narrative of the extra magazines is part and parcel of the arc of labeling gun owners as well as Christians as domestic terrorists. We are being lumped in with the bolsheviks. What do think the data centers and AI are for – Amelia videos?

I am not a statist, Ricky. My take on the shooting was based on my own experiences as a street cop and detective working in some of the shittiest areas of SoCal. This man had already had confrontations with ICE and was loaded for bear when he interfered with a lawful arrest. As far as that shooting goes, let the chips fall where they may.
As far as my OPINION about carrying, I can tell you when I worked, I carried a Glock 19 with extra mags and a S&W Model 37 as a BUG. And I practiced monthly. I apologize to all here if they got the impression that there should be any restrictions on carrying. There should not. Not ever. Now that things are getting sportier, I carry a high-cap nine with other implements. The current freezing weather here in Kootenai County keeps everything concealed.
I have lived through more than one experience of having people trying to shoot me and having to shoot back. And, I have the experience of investigating officer-involved shootings and shootings where innocent civilians have had to defend themselves, their homes and their families. It’s like that old song by Fred Astaire: “You can’t take that away from me.” Bleib ubrig.

He is a New York liberal, and all his friends before running for President were liberals. We are now in the top down, bottom up scenario where people are begging the government to step in and protect them. It does not matter that we have to give up some rights in order to be “safe”. Even if it a natural law for self protection. I don’t see a moral and honorable future going down this path.

Careful with the psyop intended to divide us. The “fallacy” is that this is a 2A issue. No, it is a foreign funded, organized force fighting law enforcement doing actual Constitutional law enforcement and not tyranny. This is an attempt to divide us on the Patriot side by attempting to get us to go against the government that is for once doing its job.

Minnesota is showing itself to be organised as a criminal enterprise, stealing social benefits and committing fraud, then sending the proceeds of those crimes overseas to terrorists. I think ICE has a job to do, but interference with that job is a crime – and participants should be rounded up and charged under RICO.

You may carry concealed during a protest. You may not be armed while committing a crime. He wasn’t protesting. He was obstructing police during an operation. A crime on his part. Thus, making him an armed criminal. Beyond that, allowing communists to have the rights that they will abuse in order to eliminate our rights is worse than stupid. There are more than two sides to this problem. Bolsheviks doing their thing and fed .gov doing theirs. IMO; fed .gov is, and has been chasing the insignificant/wrong folks for the crimes. Politicians, fourth estate/fifth column collaborators, etc. since summer 2020 are who should be arrested, prosecuted and publicly punished. Why have they not been? Therein lies the true concern for America as a sovereign nation and constitutional republic.

Excellent point and therein lies the rub. The folks who should be doing the arresting are working the system to their benefit and have no vested interest to arrest.
