This past week was a series of successes for the Trump Administration. I know many people hate Trump and I still remember the Warp Speed gene therapy fiasco.
For the first time in four and a half decades, I see a glimmer of hope. The 5.3% increase in 4th quarter GDP. The military triumph in Venezuela. Trump’s $200 billion mortgage initiative, credit card interest rate cap and cancellation of UN and NGO programs were all unexpected successes for the country. Foreign policy/initiatives for Bolivia, Columbia, Cuba, Mexico and Denmark/Greenland will make the nation more secure. Our military is regaining respect across the world and NATO may be relegated to the dustbin of history shortly.
Tim Burchett is asking Elon Musk to come back to DOGE. Imagine if DOGE could be implemented without regard to political fallout in both parties. While hope is not a strategy, results from good leadership is.
Will history look back at this time and record Trump, Vance, RF Kennedy Jr., Rubio, Musk and Bessent as refounding fathers? Time will tell but I hope that Musk’s vision of a greater future will come true.
