Massively understated, IMO.
100% true. For most people its about a pathway as some stuff requires foundational stuff to understand. But if you don’t get discouraged, you will find the foundational stuff too. Unfortunately we have a “system” that cares more about a piece of paper than what is behind it, but labor laws and lots of other things have driven us to this point. If you make sure you read plenty of books on starting a business, you won’t have to worry so much about how someone else is going to “value” your REAL and HONEST education. The market only cares about delivering what it wants.
For MUCH of life this is true…but not all. Would Elon allow a “doctor” who didn’t go to med school to do surgery on himself….or his kids? Somehow I doubt it. There are some things that require formal education and supervised training.
I don’t know anyone who condemns the formal training required for specific PROFESSIONS, just the concept of “college for everyone” as if something magical is learned from these tenured liberal clowns. And frankly, REAL COMPETITION in the medical industry, including TRAINING, would improve healthcare TREMENDOUSLY. Currently BigPharma runs most medical schools, which is why doctors know ZERO about HEALTH, and tons and tons about lab tests and reflexive prescription drugs….
