Exactly Dweezil. The ICBM argument is BS, unless they are planning to make Russia a permanent enemy. Hypersonics will get us long before ICBM’s can launch. We should be looking at a commercial land connection with Russia through Alaska and mutual development of Arctic resources. Russia should be our best ally given what is going down in Europe.
