It breaks my heart that she has to make excuses for staying home with her precious children. What is wrong with our country that such good mothers feel pressured to outsource their parenting? I hope she just keeps on doing what she is doing.

Not one person in that video understands the problem. The hostess only mentions it ( dollar debasement ) in passing. Nothing went up in price, the dollar went down. We were just taxed more effectively by inflation lately. The fiat dollar is in its death throes and no amount of wage inflation or stimulus is going to fix that. I do not think it can be fixed, maybe delayed, but not fixed short of a new, honest, currency. It certainly will not be fixed if no one understands it.

You are right! But what is the solution?
There are several Amish communities near me…..they don’t have health insurance, cars, car insurance, or electric bills. They grow their own food. If a house or barn burns down, it is rebuilt within a few days by the whole community. They have their own school and church, their own feed stores, etc. The answer to this problem is not universal healthcare, socialism or communism, as we know how that ends. The answer is making small communities that are out of the system, like the Amish but not a cult. A community of plumbers, contractors, electricians, farmers, medics, etc., who take care of each other. Easier said than done I suppose, but the Amish prove it can be done.

Agreed. We need to return to a more agrarian lifestyle if we are to survive the collapse. A national divorce could work if correctly crafted. A return to Constitutional money (silver and gold) would solve the problem but is unlikely in the current political environment. Otherwise, yes, the Amish have it nailed.
