Seriously, if you’re a leftist/democrat arguing for gun control despite what the 2nd Amendment says, you’re a fucking idiot. No, really, it’s plain as day English language, deliberately vague and all encompassing. Just because you don’t like it doesn’t mean you get to redefine the accepted meaning of words and invent new ones to suit your agenda.
It’s past time we stopped catering to these adolescent intellects and taught them what it means to be an adult.
Assuming the SC does strike these laws down, then what? The mentioned cities are already in open insurrection against FEDGOV over immigration and harboring of invaders, as well as targeted violence against federal agents. There has been no effort so far to address this (arresting mayors and governors of the respective cities and states engaged in nullifying federal law as an act of overt disobedience. Any new SC decision regarding the 2A will be similarly kill off for the same reasons and by the same people. And ultimately, I predict the DOJ will decline to prosecute these offenses, and the entire exercise will be just another side show with no follow through.

Well, enforcement is the key. And so far, there has been much bluster in making big announcements and revelations of wrongdoing. But actual effective enforcement actions are, for all practical purposes, non-existent. And the legal basis to attack sanctuary cities and states exist over this, but Trump, et al. appear entirely unwilling to flex those muscles. So, they have no actual strategic victories to show for all the sound and fury signifying nothing. Newsome, Pritzker, Hochul (among others) and multiple mayors of blue hives, should all be retained on charges of insurrection, for publicly flaunting their intent not to follow long established federal law.
Flagrantly violating a constitutional amendment is about as fundamental a statement of breaking the law as can be achieved, and yet they are getting away with it. How fast do you think they’d get their faces kicked in if a state suddenly refused to allow women to vote by invalidating the 19th amendment? You can bet your ass there’d be troops in the streets within 24 hours. The refrain would undoubtedly be “oh, but that’s different!”. Uh, no, it sure the hell isn’t. These obvious logical and legal inconsistencies are allowed to stand, and it has effectively destroyed the legitimacy of government.

I have a nifty little Mossberg Shockwave in .410 which will receive a Bantam stock once my liberties are restored. It’s an ideal interior home defense firearm.
