When I first read Atlas Shrugged, I almost stopped after about 50 pages. I could not comprehend the premise that the nation’s economy could be so broken and no one was addressing the problems. How naïve I was in 2009. Dagny Taggart’s character was well written except for the fact that she could not accept the inevitable conclusion that the country was doomed. John Galt and the residents of Galt’s Gulch understood and played a waiting game for when the time came to rebuild from the ashes.
Majorie Taylor Greene is not Dagny: she accepted the reality that the government does not represent the people and that there is no way to save our Republic.
Her crime was simple: she pointed out that the government is bought and paid for by the Israeli government. People point out other issues with her that they do not agree with but this is the crux of the matter as Rep. Massie is also attacked for the same reason.
Albert Einstein once stated:
“The measure of intelligence is the ability to change.”
This variant is clearer:
“A true sign of intelligence is not knowledge, but the ability to change your mind when presented with new evidence.”
Sometimes we are presented with new evidence but mainly we are presented bad information or will not accept the truth. Here are some truths that we need to accept:
- Israel is not our friend. Example: USS Liberty.
- The government does not represent the citizens of the United States.
- Our elections still are not secure.
- Our judicial system is corrupted and weaponized.
- We are economically bankrupt.
- Corporations and foreign governments control our politicians through bribes, blackmail and more power.
- Both parties collude for the benefit of the uniparty. Examples: the recent government shutdown and the release of the Epstein files.
- Digital currency will replace physical currency in order to control us.
- The government funded the development of SARS-COV2 virus.
- The government funded the development of mRNA gene therapy to negatively impact our health, fertility and lives.
MTG acknowledges and accepts what Dagny (and Americans) could not. Let the ashes of the Republic blow away in the wind and let us start rebuilding. Let us learn from our mistakes and lapse in faith to make a new beacon of light for our children. There is no John Galt coming to help us but our path forward is clear.

Kind of torn on the MTG thing.
She was for the most part a very reliable conservative vote in congress. And she definitely wasn’t an AIPAC toadie.
Perhaps she had the right intentions when pressing for the Epstein files to be released, but the Epstein bill that just passed – and that she voted for – will do no such thing. And she probably knew it.
On the other hand… she was reported to made over $25 Million in just 6 years from insider trading while in congress.
She is also a quitter who instead of finishing out her term, will be leaving the house one vote closer to being taken over by the likes of Hakeem Jeffries.
And why isn’t she resigning effective immediately? Because by waiting until after Dec 2 to quit, she will become eligible for taxpayer-funded pension and health insurance… so now we get to pay for 70% of her salary and a golden health plan for the rest of her life.
Misleading. Her pension will be $14,320 a year when she retires in 11 years. I don’t know what you are talking about in the Epstein bill. She explained her reasons for leaving in her statement. Why should anyone participate in a system doomed to fail?
I stand corrected about her pension. Not sure where I read that 70% number.
The “Epstein Bill” is HR4405 (aka the “Epstein Files Transparency Act”) which allegedly requires the DOJ to release all of their information regarding Epstein. Tons of loopholes, and the fact that it passed almost unanimously and and so quickly means it is all for show.
One more thing to add to the list.
911 was not a terrorist attack as we were told. It was an attack on our freedom. We now have the permanent Patriot act which we have to live under, the TSA, Real ID etc. The same song different verse as Covid. All planned to keep us under control.
9/11 was a manufactured hoax by the deep state, via the witting Bush campaign to follow the “Seven Nations” plan and make an attack on the arab world. Hoax and just an operation staged by the government. No plane at Shanksville and no plane at the Pentagon. Then the is israel, the enemy of the globe.
