    I have NEVER been a fan of the government holding the monopoly on driver’s licenses. They have ZERO skin in the game. ZERO. While I do NOT like the horrible government-protected cartel that the insurance industry has become, as a concept (given serious reforms), THEY are at least players in the financial and liability game that is operation of deadly moving vehicles, and a private company could be subject to liability consequences (unless government protected them of course – not part of my plan), these folks would be FAR BETTER handing out licenses to both truck drivers and automobile drivers than the government. Plenty of options for getting government OUT of the business. THEY are worthless at EVERYTHING they do…and take ZERO responsibility for their never-ending failures.
